WHAT ABOUT OUR ROOTS?
As we grow up we tend to pretend as if we know everything. This issue happens mostly when we go to varsity and start experiencing varsity life. It's funny how most people like hanging out with people
who maintain a high standard life, it is not wrong to hang out with these kind of people only if you know where you come from and have high self-esteem. we see people going beyond things they can afford in order to fit in a group but when they are alone and reflection stares into them, they start crying. How can we forget those people who were driven to varsity just because of some other reason beside studying their books.
We all know where we come from and we hate thinking about because it reminds us of how our lives could turn out to be if we don't make things happen of which is a great motivation. Some students are fortunate enough to have bursary, but they get too comfortable with what they benefit and forget to study. Some of the students are known to be very disciplined in their society but what they do outside their communities they are even worse than those people who are know to be black sheets of that community.
What I know for sure is that people don't change they just get to be themselves as they grow up but my only concern is why parents are left in the dark side. Parents tend to be the strangest people in their children's life. Sometimes they stay still and fight for us not knowing that everything that is being about us is true.

We want to fit in and in that process of fitting in we tend to forget where we come from and that we're different.
ReplyDeleteI think its all in that saying that says''BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER'',Our parents become blinded by that and they would literally kill someone who tells them about the kind of people they kids are.
